Silver Alert Issued for Missing Centereach Teen
Police said the teen was reported missing by Mercy First in Syosset on July 29.
Nassau County Police have issued a Silver Alert for a missing Centereach teenager.
Police said Cain Mosby, 17, was reported missing from Mercy First in Syosset on July 29. He was last seen on Aug. 11 on Horse Block Road in Centereach at 2 p.m.
Mosby is a type-I diabetic and insulin dependent, police said. He is 5'8'', 199 lbs., and is African-American.
The Silver Alert Program has been established in order to disseminate immediate information to local media, hospitals and other organizations when a senior citizen or other individuals suffering from Alzheimer’s disease, dementia or other cognitive disorders goes missing.
