MASSENA - The Massena Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing person.
Hiram Sonny Harris, 62, a resident of the Valehaven Home for Adults, Massena, was last seen after taking a cab to the Canton McDonalds restaurant at 9 a.m. Thursday.
He is described as a white male who stands 5 feet, 7 inches and weighs 200 pounds. He has gray hair and green eyes.
Anyone with information Mr. Harris’s whereabouts are asked to call your local police department or the Massena Police Department at 769-3577

Police Looking for Missing Massena Man

The Massena Police Department is seeking the public's help in locating a missing man.

Police say 62 year old Hiram Sonny Harris is a resident of Val Haven Home for Adults in Massena.

According to police, Harris is a diabetic and has a minor mental health issue.

Police said people at the Val Haven Home are permitted to sign themselves out.

According to police, Harris took a cab to the McDonald's restaurant in Canton on Thursday at 9 a.m.

He was last seen being dropped off at the restaurant.

Harris is described as white with grey hair and green eyes.

He weighs 200 pounds and is 5 feet 7 inches tall.

Massena Police Department issues missing person alert for man last seen in Canton

CANTON -- The Massena Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing person who might have been in Canton yesterday morning.

They are looking for Hiram Sonny Harris, 62, a resident of Val Haven Home in Massena, who has been missing since yesterday.

Harris is described as white, 5'7" tall, 200 pounds, with gray hair and green eyes.

What is known is that Harris took a cab to the MacDonald's in Canton on Thursday, Aug. 16, at 9 a.m.

What is not known is what happened after that.

Anyone with information on Harris's whereabouts is asked to call their local police department or the Massena Police Department at 769-3577
