State Police looking for missing Oswego man

Oswego (WSYR-TV) – State Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing Oswego man.
John Humphrey, 48, of Birch Lane was last seen on Friday. On Tuesday, June 5, he was reported walking along State Route 481 in Oswego.
Humphrey was recently released from a mental health facility. He is supposed to be taking medication but police say he may have stopped taking it.
Humphrey is 5-feet 6-inches tall and weighs 120 pounds. He has gray hair with a beard and mustache. He was last seen wearing jeans and a dark blue sweatshirt.
Anyone with any information is asked to call State Police in Fulton at 593-6194 or State Police Communications at 782-2112.

Oswego, NY -- State police are asking the public's help in locating an Oswego man who has been missing since Friday.
The last confirmed sighting of John T. Humphrey, 48, of 29 Birch Lane, was on Friday at an Oswego office, troopers said. An unconfirmed sighting was on Tuesday, where Humphrey was reported walking along state Route 481, troopers said this morning.
Humphrey was recently released from a mental health facility and was in his Birch Lane home only a day before he went missing, troopers said. Humphrey is supposed to be taking medication but troopers believed he stopped taking it.
Humphrey is a white male who is 5-feet 6-inches tall and weighs 120 pounds. He has gray hair with a beard and mustache. He was last seen wearing jeans and a blue sweatshirt.
State police are planning to release a photo of Humphrey later today.

FULTON — Area law enforcement agencies are searching for a West Monroe man who has been missing since Friday and may be living on the streets in the city of Fulton.
John T. Humphrey, 48, of 337 county Route 11, was reported missing Friday by his wife, Marie Humphrey. Mr. Humphrey was last seen in the vicinity of the Sumatra Apartments on Birch Lane, on the east side of the city of Oswego, where he had recently been placed in an assisted-living apartment. Humphrey is described as being approximately 5’6” tall, 120 pounds and was wearing blue jeans, white sneakers, a blue shirt and green jacket at the time of his disappearance.
